Merrimac Industries, Inc. (Merrimac) designs and manufactures active and passive radio frequency (RF) and microwave components and integrated multifunction assemblies for commercial, military and high-reliability markets. Its components and integrated assemblies are found in applications as diverse as satellites, military and commercial aircraft, radar, radio systems, medical diagnostic instruments, communications systems and wireless connectivity. The Company manufactures and sells approximately 1,500 components and subsystems used in signal processing systems in the frequency spectrum of data center (DC) to 65 gigahertz. Merrimac's products are designed to process signals having wide bandwidths and are of relatively small size and light weight. When integrated into subsystems, advantages of lower cost and smaller size are realized due to the reduced number of connectors, cases and headers.
