Business Summary
Chinatrust (Philippines) Commercial Bank Corporation (Bank) provides commercial banking services, such as deposit products, loans and trade finance, domestic and foreign fund transfers, treasury, foreign exchange, and trust services. The Bank is also licensed to engage in regular financial derivatives. The Bank operates in three segments: Treasury, which provides money market, trading and treasury services, as well as the management of the Bank’s funding operations by use of government securities and placements and acceptances with other banks; Institutional banking, which handles loans, trade finance and other credit facilities and deposit and current accounts for corporate and institutional customers; and Retail Banking, which addresses the individual and retail markets and covers deposit taking and servicing, consumer lending, such as home mortgages and personal loans. As of December 31, 2010, beside its main office branch, the Bank had 24 branches.
