On July 1, 2007, the Company entered into a joint venture with Data Trace Information Services LLC (Data Trace). On February 5, 2008, the Company completed the acquisition of Optimal Decisions Group Pty Ltd. In June 2008, ChoicePoint sold its government software business, specifically i2 Inc. and i2 Ltd., to Silver Lake Sumeru. In September 2008, Reed Elsevier plc acquired ChoicePoint.
