Xyratex Limited (Xyratex), is a provider of modular enterprise-class data storage solutions and storage process technology. The Company designs, develops and manufactures enabling technology that provides the customers with data storage products to support high-performance storage and data communication networks. The segments of the Company include Networked Storage Solutions (NSS) and Storage Infrastructure (SI). The NSS products provide modular, highly scalable, high-speed, high-density, reliable and flexible data storage. The SI products include process and test equipment utilized in disk drive head fabrication, disk drive substrate and media manufacturing and disk drive final assembly and test. The Company sells its NSS products primarily to original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and SI products to hard disk drive (HDD), manufacturers or their component suppliers.
