Chow Sang Sang Holdings International Limited is an investment holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the manufacture and retail of jewelry, wholesale of precious metals, and securities and commodities broking. The Company’s major business is jewelry retail in Hong Kong and Macau, Mainland China and Taiwan. In Hong Kong there is a securities and futures brokerage, as well as an operation in the wholesale of precious metals and related products. As of December 31, 2009, there were 36 Chow Sang Sang shops and Emphasis Jewellery had 14, three of which were new additions in Hong Kong. Its subsidiaries include Acclaim Holdings Limited, Chow Sang Sang Bullion Dealers Limited, Chow Sang Sang (China) Company Limited and Chow Sang Sang Commodities Limited.
