The Company invests primarily in a portfolio of commons shares, which includes 15 financial services companies, including 10 Canadian issuers and five United States issuers. The Canadian issuers include Bank of Montreal, The Bank of Nova Scotia, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, CI Financial, Great-West Lifeco Inc., Manulife Financial Corporation, National Bank of Canada, Royal Bank of Canada, Sun Life Financial Services of Canada Inc. and The Toronto-Dominion Bank, and the United States issuers include Bank of America Corp., Citigroup Inc., J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. and Wells Fargo & Co. The Company may also invest up to 15% of the net asset value in equity securities of issuers other than these 15 financial services companies. It offers two types of shares: preferred shares and class A shares. The manager of the Company is Quadravest Inc. and the investment manager is Quadravest Capital Management Inc.
