Sanatana Diamonds Inc. (Sanatana) is an exploration-stage company. The Company’s principal business activity is the acquisition, exploration and development of properties. Sanatana has mineral property rights in the Northwest Territories, which it is exploring and developing in a joint venture with Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc. (Kennecott). Sanatana’s exploration activities have been carried out in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, Canada, where the Company prospected and explored for diamonds at the Mackenzie Platform. Its exploration project is located north of Great Bear Lake and approximately 700 kilometers northwest of Yellowknife. As of March 31, 2009, Sanatana holds approximately 1.8 million acres of ground under mineral claims. The Company holds a drill permit around the Kilkale Lake area.
