Air Canada is Canada's domestic and international airline and a provider of scheduled passenger services in the Canadian market, the Canada-United States transborder market, and in the international market to and from Canada. During the year ended December 31, 2009, Air Canada, together with Jazz Air LP, operated an average of 1,331 scheduled flights daily, and carried almost 31 million passengers and provided direct passenger service to 156 destinations. Air Canada Cargo provides direct cargo services to over 150 Canadian and international destinations. During 2009, it provided scheduled service directly to 54 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Central America and South America. Air Canada Vacations is Canada's tour operators. It operates its business in the outbound leisure travel market by developing, marketing and distributing vacation travel packages. Its wholly-owned subsidiary is Touram Limited Partnership.
