Platinum owns core producing and non-producing oil and natural gas properties in Texas and New Mexico. All of its reserves are located in the United States of America. As of December 31, 2009, Platinum had total estimated proved reserves of 2,188 million barrels of crude oil and 13,677 million cubic feet (MMcf) of natural gas.
